Our CEO

Pierre Vriens is an industry veteran with over 40 years of invaluable experience. His journey began after earning a degree in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from KU Leuven, a renowned Belgian university, back in the eighties. In 1990, he ventured into the world of ChangeMan ZMF 3.2.1b, laying the foundation for his remarkable expertise. Fast forward to 2000, and Pierre assumed the role of CEO as one of the founding members of AbitMore bv, further enriching his extensive experience to this day. The glowing testimonials he has accumulated throughout his extensive career leave no doubt that he is a preeminent authority in the realm of ChangeMan ZMF.

A significant portion of his perspectives, aspirations, and business ethics regarding ChangeMan ZMF stem from his interactions with Doug Troxel, also known as DDT, whom he has met multiple times over the past three decades. From Doug, he has received numerous recommendations on selling, supporting, and developing AbitMore’s add-on products for ChangeMan ZMF. Particularly noteworthy is a moment around 1990 when DDT asserted that supporting products like CSP, VAG, or IDMS/ADSO in ChangeMan ZMF was impossible. However, about a year later, Pierre demonstrated to DDT how he achieved it, earning the acronym CSP as "Come & See Pierre." Subsequently, DDT (SERENA) even flew Pierre around the world to implement CSP support in ChangeMan ZMF for a new customer.

  • 2019 – 2023

    From 2019 onwards AbitMore has been playing an important role in the SCM activity of a part of the European Central Bank (ECB) . The operation of this organization determines the daily life of every European.

  • 2017

    A milestone year in AbitMore's journey as compatibility issues with ChangeMan ZMF 7 were resolved with the release of ChangeMan ZMF 8 in approximately 2017. This critical update allowed AbitMore SCM Commander to function seamlessly, providing enhanced capabilities and support for ChangeMan ZMF users.

  • 2010

    AbitMore launched "Dr Chgman," a comprehensive website offering a wide range of high-quality products, documentation, services, and training for ChangeMan ZMF users. This initiative showcased their extensive expertise and commitment to serving the ChangeMan ZMF community.

  • 2006

    The unveiling of AbitMore SCM Commander, an advanced version of their XML services for ChangeMan ZMF. This release added further features and capabilities to their offerings, reinforcing their commitment to enhancing the ChangeMan ZMF experience.

  • 2003

    AbitMore introduced AbitMore SCM Reporting, a powerful tool designed to simplify the creation of reports and graphs within the ChangeMan ZMF environment. This marked an important addition to their suite of services, facilitating better data analysis and decision-making.
